Ode to Bílek
A four-hour durational performance taking place in Frantisek Bílek’s studio. The audience is free to come and go as they please within the timeframe. The performance worked towards embodying Bílek’s sculptures. Meditating in an oscillation between hope and despair, between life and lifelessness, between knowing and seeing… dancing and weaving in between the sculptures; at points finding moments of stillness and likeness with the surroundings, at other times acting in opposition, generating full and fluid movements.
